Thank you to all the Lion's who took time out of your busy schedules to participate in the elementary school vision screenings at Iao School on Sep 19. Many thanks to the Maui High School HOSA Club and King Kekaulike Leo Club for helping with the Maui County Fair Parking Fundraiser on Oct 2-5. Also, thanks to all the Lions that participated in the Special Needs Fair Day and the HMSA Flu Shot Project on Oct 3. Great job to all club officers and members who have committed their time and efforts to move their respective clubs to new heights of community service. Remember that we can only continue to acheive with continued membership growth. Share the fun, fellowship, food, and feeling of service to others. Oct 9: Zone Advisory Committee Meeting at Kahului McDonalds, 6pm; Oct 14: Haleakala Lions Club Meeting at Kahului Community Center, 6pm; ; Oct 22:Maui Disability Alliance Legislative Forum at Velma McWayne Santos Community Center, help with setup 1pm and breakdown 7pm; Oct 29-Nov 3:Lions Clubs International Board of Directors Meeting at Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel; Oct 31: Host Committee Dinner for International Directors and District 50 Hawaii Lions at Kihei Community Center, 6pm;
